Cycling UK has a vision of creating happier, healthier and greener lives through cycling. The charity have championed the cause of cycling for more than 140 years.

Cycling UK promote all forms of cycling, protect the interests of existing and would-be cyclists, and inspire people across the UK to discover the joys of cycling. They are striving to make cycling mainstream and to create a lasting difference to the lives of individuals and communities.

As part of their mission to enable and inspire people from all backgrounds and abilities to experience cycling’s joys and benefits, Cycling UK carry out award-winning campaign work, making our towns and cities safer for cyclists, as well as campaigning to open up the countryside to cyclists. They have developed seven long-distance routes across the UK and supported and promoted countless others, four of which you can now ride with Skedaddle!

Pennine Bridleway

The Pennine Bridleway covers a section of Cycling UK’s Great North Trail which traverses 800 off-road miles of Scotland and northern England along ancient packhorse routes, drovers’ roads and bridleways.

The Wolf Way

Created by local cycling enthusiasts in Suffolk and supported by Cycling UK, the Wolf Way traces ancient routes and historic treasures as you cycle through scenic and peaceful landscapes.
